Where possible, we advocate Theory of Constraints as the technology to determine the improvement strategy of the business through it's awareness of "constraints" in contrast to "non-constraints" and the application of the 5 focusing steps to set the framework for improvement.
Every other (and any other) improvement technology might then have a role in achieving the outcome that the strategy is intended to achieve.
